Job summary

Wilson Brook Consulting is recruiting three Regional Directors for a major building materials and trade distribution group in the UK. You will lead substantial regional operations, balance local commercial judgement with group standards, and report to a Divisional Managing Director.

You will shape regional priorities, drive sales and margin improvement, manage costs, and build leadership capability across multiple branches, with travel across your region and regular remote engagement.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership across multiple branches or sites, with regional P&L responsibility and measurable commercial results.
• The ability to develop managers, address underperformance and build effective teams across a dispersed territory.
• Sound financial judgement and evidence of improving sales, margin, productivity and controllable costs.
• Experience implementing change, collaborating with central teams and delivering within clear operating frameworks.
• Energy, resilience and practical judgement, with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast moving business.
