Anthony Gregg Partnership | Retail and Consumer Executive Search Specialists is seeking a Regional Director to lead a large Midlands multi-site operation. You will drive commercial performance, oversee budgets and forecasting, and build high-performing teams to deliver sustainable growth.

Reporting to the MD, you will shape regional strategy, manage profitability, and foster key client relationships while embedding health and safety and continuous improvement across the region.

We are retained on a search for a Regional Director to lead a large, multi-site operation across the Midlands for an established UK business.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for a commercially driven individual to take ownership of regional performance, develop high-performing teams and deliver sustainable business growth.

The Role

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead the commercial, operational and people performance of your region, ensuring business plans are delivered and opportunities for growth are maximised.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and developing regional leadership teams, creating a high-performance culture focused on accountability, engagement and continuous improvement.
• Taking ownership of regional financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, profitability and delivery against business objectives.
• Developing and executing commercial strategies to grow revenue, improve profitability and strengthen market position.
• Building strong relationships with key customers and strategic partners to maximise commercial opportunities and improve customer experience.
• Driving operational efficiency, productivity and consistent performance across a geographically dispersed operation.
• Developing leadership capability through coaching, succession planning, talent development and effective performance management.
• Maintaining commercial discipline through performance analysis, pricing strategies and targeted margin improvement initiatives.
• Championing health and safety while leading business change and embedding continuous improvement.

About You

You will be an experienced senior leader with a strong track record of delivering commercial results and leading multi-site operations.

Ideally, you will bring:

• Experience at Regional Director or Regional Manager level within a large, multi-site organisation.
• A strong understanding of P&L management, budgeting, forecasting and commercial performance.
• A proven ability to develop strategies that deliver revenue growth and improved profitability.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing managers across multiple locations.
• Strong relationship management skills and the ability to identify and convert commercial opportunities.
• A commercially minded approach to operational improvement, productivity and cost management.
• The ability to lead change, influence stakeholders and build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• A commitment to health and safety, colleague development and creating an inclusive working environment.
