Job summary

Wesco Anixter is seeking a Director – Sales to lead the Regional WDCS team and drive strategy for regional Multi‑Tenant Data Centre accounts, supporting Hyperscale and Emerging AI key accounts across the regions. You will engage with Architects, Engineers, Contractors and internal teams to develop sales bids, proposals, and account plans, delivering customer‑facing solutions and strategic initiatives.

The role requires strong commercial leadership and broad stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

High School Degree or equivalent required.
Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred.
7+ years of related industry professional sales.
5+ years of experience leading staff and programs at national, district or regional level.
Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.

Responsibilities

Sell a diverse range of Data Centre solutions and services across a defined territory.
Position services for design, end‑to‑end project deployment, and rack & roll.
Build partnerships across internal business units and fast‑paced sales team.
Develop business partner relations to enhance value‑add sales and project identification.
Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management.
Utilize sales management tools for planning and documenting opportunities.
Understand competitive landscape and market insights; communicate with stakeholders.
Develop and administer sales plans to attain quotas and motivate staff.
Forecast sales volume and profit for existing and new accounts.
Establish and expand supplier relationships at national, regional, and local levels.
Maintain pricing and product mix by staying current with trends.
