Job summary

Sphere Solutions recruiting an Associate Commercial Director to spearhead a new regional groundworks operation across Hampshire and the South Coast.

You will lead commercial development, secure new contracts with PLC housebuilders and regional developers, and shape the growth strategy with the senior leadership team.

Qualifications

• Proven background in groundworks and civil engineering in residential housing.
• Experience at Commercial Director / Associate Commercial Director level.
• Established network with PLC housebuilders and regional developers.
• Ability to generate new business and secure contracts.
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
• Leadership and relationship-building skills.
• COINS experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial development of a new regional groundworks operation.
• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities.
• Leverage relationships with PLC housebuilders and regional developers to generate opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients to position the business as preferred contractor.
• Identify projects, lead commercial discussions and support tender submissions.
• Build a pipeline to support regional growth.
• Work with the senior leadership team to implement the growth strategy.
• Shape the regional office structure and operations.
• Maintain strong commercial controls and project profitability.
• Support the business's reputation in the South Coast market.
