Job summary
Barchester Healthcare is seeking an Operational Trainer to deliver induction and development training across around 4 homes in the Reading area. You will travel between Wokingham, Reading, and Bracknell and act as an initial point of contact for new staff, promoting the Barchester ethos and person-centred care.
The role is home-based with regional travel, requires C&G 7300 or equivalent, Diploma Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent experience), knowledge of legislative requirements,
Qualifications
- C&G 7300 (or equivalent) qualification.
- Diploma level 3 in Health & Social Care or experience in social care.
- Working knowledge of legislative requirements in care sector.
- 2 years training experience.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver induction and development training against Barchester objectives and training statistics.
- Provide practical, hands on training across a variety of subjects.
- Plan and publish training calendars.
- Ensure employee training files are up to date.
- Observe workplace practice and provide coaching as needed.
- Attend meetings and promote development opportunities.
