About the role and team:

We are seeking a confident and driven sales individual to join our regional sales team as a Business Development Manager. As the face of our brand, you will deliver excellent service and sell our products to grow new and existing customer accounts. You will thrive working in the field, with expectations of three to four days on the road within the Southeast region. Although this is a regional role, occasional visits to our Birmingham offices and Distribution centre will be required.

The role will involve:

  • Developing and growing all existing and new accounts within your geographical territory
  • Converting prospects into customers through methods such as door-to-door, cold calling, and presentations
  • Building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline to achieve targets
  • Preparing and presenting proposals, presentations, and quotations to potential customers
  • Developing service, retail, web, and new sector customers

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have previous B2B product sales experience
  • Possess strong customer orientation and relationship-building skills
  • Be self-motivated to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, changing environment
