About The Role

We’re seeking top talent to join us during an exciting phase of growth, aiming to enhance our market-leading position by delivering an improved customer experience. We have a new opportunity for a Business Development Manager, working within a region, primarily focused on winning and developing Accommodation and Welfare revenue streams from National Accounts, Specific End Markets, Large Regional Customers, and Mega Projects.

This role involves optimizing revenue through multiple sales channels, identifying and marketing differentiated value propositions across various markets and growth sectors, and implementing training and development programs to improve order conversion rates and overall customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing a pipeline of accounts and projects with primary account holders within National accounts & End Markets teams to align with Sunbelt Rentals' Accommodation & Welfare Strategy, driving profitable growth and improving ROI nationally.
  • Collaborating with relevant SBR business units to develop routes to market and enhance customer engagement.
  • Presenting compelling proposals to senior stakeholders (internal & external) focusing on product & service offerings, innovation, and sustainability.
  • Representing Sunbelt Rentals professionally to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Leading tender bids to ensure profitability and maximum ROI, working with Tenders and Bids teams, Marketing, and Sales colleagues.
  • Maintaining a strict sales pipeline management using CRM, aligned with business KPIs.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor for Accommodation in your region, ensuring a collaborative sales approach tailored to sector needs.
  • Staying updated on products, market conditions, and competitor activity.
  • Developing new strategies to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Preparing and delivering timely, comprehensive reports on your business area.
  • Creating Customer Development plans (National, Regional & Sector-based) to maximize revenues and expand multi-brand offerings.
  • Maintaining a good understanding of hire contracts and terms.
  • Ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.
