What does the role involve?

Reporting to our National Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying and developing new relationships with targeted companies, building and managing a robust sales pipeline to drive sustained business growth. You'll proactively promote Novuna's hydrogen solutions, increasing awareness, adoption, and deployment within the specialist asset leasing market.

Some of your key duties will include:

  • Achieving agreed sales targets for new business opportunities within the defined business stream / market sectors of your portfolio
  • Generating and taking responsibility for credit proposals, business proposals and tenders/ bids; developing expertise in hydrogen pricing models to ensure competitive and profitable offerings
  • Collaboration with marketing to run Hydrogen messaging campaigns using Salesforce and LinkedIn, attending industry events to ensure that Novuna's capabilities are widely known and that our reputation in this area is constantly enhanced
  • Actively participating in all hydrogen consortiums, including updating and managing Quarterly Review Meetings (QRMs) for hydrogen-related projects in which Novuna is involved

What are we looking for?

To be successful in this role you'll have demonstrable experience of identifying new opportunities and delivering tender propositions to meet the needs of the customer in the HGV space of the vehicle leasing industry. You'll have good knowledge of the UK electrification landscape and be highly motivated to learn our hydrogen solutions that will contribute towards decarbonisation targets for the customer, in line with Novuna's strategic vision.

Also, we're looking for the following:

  • A natural relationship builder with the ability to form excellent partnerships internally and externally
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to write compelling tenders
  • Experience of using Salesforce to track sales and marketing activity
