Job summary

AECOM in the UK London area is seeking a Regional Bid Director to lead our largest pursuits across the UK and wider region. This senior role combines strategy, governance and delivery, directing cross-disciplinary teams to secure major wins.

You will work with senior leaders and client accounts to shape opportunity strategies, manage programmes, and drive value propositions across Rail, Highways, Aviation, Water and other markets. Hybrid working and global opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of leading and winning large, complex pursuits.
• Experience guiding multidisciplinary teams through bid environments.
• Strong programme and project leadership skills with multiple workstreams.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management.
• Understanding of infrastructure markets (transportation, buildings, water, energy, defence or professional services).

Responsibilities

• Lead major pursuits across the UK and wider region, including large, complex opportunities.
• Act as pursuit lead, executive sponsor or senior bid director on priority opportunities.
• Coordinate governance, delivery programmes and resources to achieve winning outcomes.
• Develop win themes and client-focused pursuit strategies.
• Build integrated pursuit teams with technical experts, account leads and legal advisors.
• Oversee portfolio of strategic opportunities and allocate bid resources.
• Lead and develop high performing work-winning teams.
