Job summary

AECOM in the UK is seeking a Growth Director - Client & Contractor Partnerships to drive revenue growth across Transportation in UK&I. You will shape sales strategies, build long-term client relationships, and lead strategic partnerships with contractors to deliver sustainable expansion.

In this role you will collaborate with Market Sector Directors and Strategy & Growth, guide market entry initiatives, and provide market intelligence to inform investment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in business development or growth strategy, leadership roles.
• Proven track record of revenue generation, position development and leading strategic partnerships with other organisations
• Deep knowledge of the Transportation market in UK&I, specifically in Rail
• Strong network within the Transportation Sector in UK&I with Rail Clients and Tier 1/2 Contractors
• Experience with public sector procurement including framework agreements
• Excellent project management and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate at all organisational levels
• Strategic and analytical mindset with a focus on driving results
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Knowledge of Industry dynamics and trends in Europe & India related to Transportation

Responsibilities

• Build long term client relationships across the Transportation market.
• Develop client understanding to support strategic partnerships including contractors.
• Work with clients to support development of long‑term transport solutions.
• Position AECOM to shape client thinking and be a market leader.
• Collaborate with Strategy & Growth to lead market directions and opportunities.
• Support pipeline analysis to ensure Transportation end market targets.
• Work with Market Sector Directors, Practices and Marcomms to align client solutions.
• Lead CAM program development within the EUR&I region.
• Drive market intelligence and investment proposals for growth.
• Represent AECOM at industry events and industry bodies.
