MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with the Sales Director in developing strategic and tactical plans to deliver the commercial plan for the region and the UK business
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients to ensure that they keep the Vispring brand at the forefront of their minds
  • Maintain and expand the Vispring floor space within stores
  • Explore and develop all possible new sales channels in conjunction with the team
  • Deliver regular, ongoing product knowledge training to retail staff both in-store and within group training visits to the Plymouth factory
  • Maintain a positive attitude and encourage both internal and external stakeholders
  • Analyse sales data to identify the strengths and weaknesses of retailers and develop an action plan to build on strengths and tackle weaknesses
  • Complete monthly sales report and ensure that sales reports are provided on a timely basis
  • Gather customer/consumer needs and deliver feedback regarding future product development opportunities
  • Gather information on competing brands, product pricing, and promotional activities
  • Liaise with the Customer Service Department to understand product replacement trends and any other queries, complaints, or issues
  • Spend time with the Vispring UK Training Team to establish a program of customer training needs at the company’s Plymouth facility
  • Attend the Plymouth facility to support scheduled training where practical and necessary

KPIs

  • Overall sales and margin achievements for the region as per the issued Budget Plan
  • Ongoing pipeline new customer focus targets to be followed, where agreed
  • Achievement of agreed training/customer events as per annual objective plans for the region

WORKPLACE & TRAVEL

  • At least 80% of the working week will be field-based. Good journey planning is the key to succeeding in this role
  • Frequent UK-wide travel and overnight stays are a fixed element of the role
  • Attendance in London at the Vispring flagship store, the Chelsea office, and the Plymouth site will be required on occasions, as will any (infrequent) overseas travel and trade show attendance when/if required
  • One day per week is allocated for essential administration tasks from a home base
