Job summary

DPDgroup is seeking an Account Manager to join a high-performing team in Southampton, UK. You will manage 75+ portfolios for customers spending £1–£5K per week with DPD, driving revenue through proactive account management and the partnering process.

You will develop account plans, maintain Salesforce data, and build multi-level relationships while identifying additional revenue opportunities and maintaining a strong revenue pipeline.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in account management and growing client revenue.
• Strong customer service orientation with ability to engage face-to-face and over the phone.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Develop account plans for each customer to meet revenue targets.
• Maintain and update information in SalesForce.
• Build multi-level relationships with customer organisations.
• Identify and develop additional revenue opportunities within the portfolio and maintain a revenue pipeline.
• Visit and conduct exit surveys on lost customers and maintain monthly contact.
• Coordinate with Regional Managers on major new business opportunities.
• Identify and manage resolution of customer problems to support long-term retention.
• Visit existing customers to sustain revenue growth and timely rate renewals.
