Job summary

Oxford Brookes University is seeking an Access & Outreach Assistant to join the Access Projects Team. The role involves delivering information, advice and guidance workshops in schools, coordinating widening access programmes, and supporting campus events.

The position is full-time and permanent, hybrid between Headington Campus and home, requiring 1–2 days on campus, regional travel, and occasional evenings or weekends. A driving licence and degree or equivalent experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering presentations/workshops to groups of young people.
• Strong organisational, IT and administrative skills.
• Willingness to undertake extensive regional travel and occasional evening/weekend work.
• A Full UK Driving Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Delivering engaging information, advice and guidance workshops in schools and colleges.
• Coordinate sustained access programmes and assist with large-scale campus events.
• Manage the school liaison inbox and input data into HEAT to evaluate impact.
• Collaborate with academic staff and support major university events such as Open Days and Clearing.
