Job summary

Oxford Brookes University is seeking an Access & Outreach Assistant to join the UK Recruitment and Admissions team. The role is hybrid, based at Headington Campus with travel across regions and 1–2 days on campus.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with students, parents/carers and teachers.
  • Willingness to undertake extensive regional travel and occasional evening/weekend work.

  • Contribute to major University recruitment activities like Open Days and Clearing.

The Role

Based at our Headington Campus (Hybrid), you will report to the Senior Schools & Colleges Liaison Officer within the UK Recruitment and Admissions Department. This full-time, permanent role requires 1-2 days on campus and involves extensive regional travel.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available.

Please note, the successful applicant will need to be subject to a background disclosure check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

About the Team

The Access & Outreach Team is part of the Directorate of Marketing, Recruitment, and Engagement. Our goal is to enhance the University's profile by delivering targeted outreach programmes to inform and attract a diverse range of potential students. We focus on collaborative work with schools, colleges and communities to facilitate progression into higher education.

What Will I Be Doing?

About the Location

This is a hybrid role split between the Headington Campus and working from home, requiring extensive regional travel.
