Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited is recruiting Refuse and Recycling Operatives to join our client across sites in Carlisle and Penrith. Multiple opportunities are available on both day and night shifts.

Due to site locations, own transport is essential as there are no public transport links to either site. Training and PPE will be provided to ensure safe operation of site machinery and processes.

• Sort and separate recyclable materials from non-recyclable waste.
• Clean and organise the site and machinery (full training provided).
• Operate machinery and equipment used in the recycling process.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials.
• Follow health and safety procedures while wearing the required PPE.

Job description

We are currently recruiting reliable Refuse and Recycling Operatives to join our client across sites in Carlisle and Penrith. We have multiple opportunities available on both day and night shifts.

Carlisle

Working Hours

• Tuesday to Thursday 5:45pm to 6:15am
• Friday to Tuesday Various shifts between 6:30am and 4:00pm
• Monday to Friday (split shifts) 6:00am to 10:00am and 1:30pm to 5:30pm

Duties

• Sort and separate recyclable materials from non-recyclable waste.
• Clean and organise the site and machinery (full training provided).
• Operate machinery and equipment used in the recycling process.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials.
• Follow health and safety procedures while wearing the required PPE.

Penrith

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday, 6:0am to 4:00pm
• Weekend work may be required when necessary.

Duties

• Load waste and recyclable materials into collection vehicles.
• Work as part of a small team to complete duties to a high standard.
• Follow health and safety procedures while wearing the required PPE.
• Complete physically demanding work on a full-time basis
