Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking Recycling Operatives to join our team just outside Carlisle. You'll sort recyclable materials, maintain a clean, safe workspace, and help processing waste efficiently. This is a temporary role with an expected end date in January, with potential for extension.

You will earn £12.71 per hour. Hours are Monday to Friday, 07:00–15:30, at the outskirts location. We provide full training, a supportive team, and perks such as Perks at Work to help you save on everyday

Qualifications

• The ability to work well in a team environment.
• Previous experience in recycling, waste management, or a similar role is an advantage but not essential - full training will be provided.

About the Role:

We're looking for reliable and hardworking Recycling Operatives to join our team based just outside Carlisle. You'll play a key role in supporting our recycling operations-sorting recyclable materials, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring all waste is processed efficiently and responsibly.

This is a temporary role until January, with the potential to go on for longer.

Duties include:

• Sorting and processing recyclable materials on-site
• Assisting with loading/unloading where required
• Keeping work areas tidy and hazard-free
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Working as part of a team to meet daily targets
