Job summary

Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for Class 2 Refuse Drivers in and around Sudbury. New Drivers considered!

Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, with safety at the forefront, and use in-cab technology as directed. Work Monday to Friday 6.30am-3pm with an hourly PAYE rate of £15.52; ASAP starts available. We offer weekly pay and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence (with no more than 6 points).
• Driver CPC
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job
• Undertake all duties in a professional manner deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate to articles left for removal
• Use in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed
• Complete relevant paperwork in real time
• Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after useEnsure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles.
• Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public and other motor users
• Willingness to help refuse loaders while on your rounds to enable your team to complete the route within the service level agreement
