Job summary

Clark Contracts Ltd, based in Scotland, seeks an experienced Contracts Manager for its Refurbishment Division. You will lead multiple projects across Scotland, providing leadership to Site Managers and project teams from pre-construction through to completion.

You will oversee safety, programme delivery and budget, working closely with Commercial, Estimating and Design teams to ensure high-quality outcomes. This is a full-time role with travel to sites and client meetings across Scotland.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Contracts Manager within a main contractor environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
• Strong planning, programming and organisational abilities.
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
• SMSTS qualification and a strong commitment to health & safety.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop Site Managers and project teams across multiple projects.
• Oversee project delivery to ensure works are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
• Develop and monitor construction programmes, methodologies and logistics strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
• Work closely with Commercial, Estimating and Design teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage project risk, procurement, design coordination and operational performance.
• Champion health & safety, quality assurance and project governance.
• Drive continuous improvement and promote best practice across the division.
• Support business development activities and help secure repeat business opportunities.
