Clark Contracts Ltd in Scotland is seeking an experienced Site Manager to work across various projects. You will be responsible for ensuring safety, managing subcontractors, and dealing directly with design teams and clients.

The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Project, strong health and safety awareness, and excellent communication skills. The position offers a competitive salary, numerous benefits including 33 days of annual leave, career progression, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Project and Office packages.
• Hold a current SMSTS qualification.
• High level of Health & Safety Awareness.
• Current First Aid certification.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience in both refurbishment and new build.
• IT literate with good contract administration skills.
• Ability to control and manage subcontractors.
• Demonstrated ability to meet programme dates.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and on budget.
• Manage subcontractors effectively.
• Deal directly with design teams and clients.
• Build relationships with existing and new customers.
• Produce, analyse, and interrogate project programmes.
• Control projects to financial budget.

Founded in 1978, Clark Contracts is a privately owned main contractor with several operating divisions; Construction, Fit Out, Refurbishment, Housing, and Maintenance. We employ over 280 people with offices in the East and West of Scotland.

Due to recent project wins we have an opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join the business to work across the East and West of Scotland.

Role & Responsibilities

• Ensuring that the projects are completed safely, on time, to budget and to the highest standard of workmanship.
• Managing Subcontractors.
• Dealing directly with design teams and clients.
• Building and developing relationships with existing and new customers.
• Produce, Analyse and interrogate programmes.
• Controlling projects to Financial Budget.
• Fully embrace the companies Customers 1st campaign to continually improve the way we deal with our Customers.

Candidate

• Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Project and Office packages.
• Hold a current SMSTS qualification.
• Have a high level of Health & Safety Awareness.
• Hold a current First Aid.
• Have strong Communication Skills.
• Have experience in both refurbishment and new build.
• Be IT literate with good contract administration skills.
• Be able to demonstrate an ability to control and manage sub-contractors.
• Be able to demonstrate that they can meet programme dates.
