Job summary

Torus Group is seeking a compassionate Reflex Refuge Key Worker to join our Supported Housing team in St Helens. You will manage a caseload of clients in refuge accommodation, deliver tailored support and assist with resettlement, working with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.

The role requires experience in safeguarding, crisis management, and person-centred support, with a three-week rolling rota including weekends. A CIH Level 3 or willingness to obtain it is preferred.

Qualifications

• CIH Level 3 qualification or willingness to work towards obtaining it.
• Experience supporting individuals affected by domestic abuse and/or those with complex needs.
• Ability to engage effectively with customers and build positive relationships.
• Experience carrying out assessments and developing support plans focused on achieving positive outcomes.
• Experience managing a caseload and working with multiple agencies and stakeholders.
• Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complete needs and risk assessments, support reviews, and deliver outcome-focused support.
• Develop, plan and deliver one-to-one support sessions within the Refuge, customers' homes, or in the community.
• Support customers to access external services and resources meeting their needs.
• Assist clients with resettlement into the community and liaise with partner agencies.
• Manage a caseload of clients and review progress against outcomes.
• Act as an advocate, working with professionals and external organisations.
