Job summary

The Angelou Centre in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking an experienced Housing Coordinator to oversee our refuge accommodation and housing operations, ensuring safety, compliance and welcoming environments for women and children at risk.

You will coordinate repairs and maintenance, manage tenancy matters, support wellbeing, and line-manage Refuge and Housing Support Workers. Note: Enhanced DBS check; role restricted to women under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

Responsibilities

• Oversee refuge accommodation safety and compliance with statutory building, property, health and safety requirements.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance, manage tenancy matters, and support the wellbeing of women and children using our services.
