Job summary

Reflectivepractice is looking for two part-time Domestic Abuse Practitioners in Leicester to provide support to women and children who have experienced domestic abuse. This rewarding role involves assisting residents with various needs while ensuring a safe and secure environment in our refuge.

Ideal candidates should demonstrate a passion for advocacy and have experience in social care or support services. Training and professional development opportunities, along with a collaborative work environment, will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic abuse, housing or community support services.
• Strong understanding of the impact of domestic abuse on families.
• Ability to manage diverse workloads effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assess referrals and support admission into refuge accommodation.
• Develop tailored support plans and conduct risk assessments.
• Provide practical and emotional support to affected families.
