Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to service and maintain industrial ammonia refrigeration systems on contracts across the Northeast. The role involves routine servicing, planned maintenance, and reactive calls, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in industrial refrigeration, FGAS qualifications, City & Guilds Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in service/maintenance on industrial refrigeration systems.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• FGAS qualification is essential.
• City & Guilds Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• Ammonia Handling (2078) knowledge or qualification required.
• MEWP/PASMA certificates are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and planned/reactive maintenance on industrial refrigeration units, including ammonia systems.
• Work to prescribed safety standards and ensure minimal downtime on client sites.

Refrigeration Engineer

Location: Northeast

Salary: £50,000 - 56,300 based on experience

Industrial Refrigeration Engineer is required for our client, a leading Refrigeration company based in Durham, who been operational for over 40 years, with national and regional offices. They specialise in the design, installation, and service/maintenance of a wide range of Industrial Refrigeration systems. Due to expansion, our client is looking for an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Service Engineer to join their team and work on their contracts.

The role will involve completing routine servicing and planned/reactive maintenance on a range of Industrial Refrigeration units such as ammonia systems.

The successful Refrigeration Engineer candidate will have at least 5 years' experience completing service/maintenance tasks on a range of ammonia refrigeration systems.

Job Requirements

• 5 years' experience completing service and maintenance works on Industrial Refrigeration systems.
• FGAS Qualified - essential
• City & Guilds Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• Ammonia Handling (2078)
• MEWP & PASMA certificates desirable
• Experience working in industrial settings including Food Manufacturing
• Live within the Northeast
• Full UK Driving Licence

Salary & Benefits
