Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer for a leading industrial refrigeration company based in Scotland. You will service, maintain and repair ammonia systems across sites, with a 40-hour week and local travel across the M8 Corridor.

The role requires 5 years of hands-on ammonia refrigeration experience, FGAS qualification, City & Guilds Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience completing service and maintenance works on Industrial Refrigeration systems.
• FGAS Qualified - essential
• City & Guilds Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• Ammonia Handling (2078)
• MEWP & PASMA certificates desirable
• Experience working in industrial settings including Food Manufacturing
• Able to commute across the M8 Corridor
• Happy to travel out of the region when required 1 site in Inverness & Dundee
• Full UK Driving Licence

Position: Refrigeration Engineer
Location: Scotland - M8 Corridor
Salary: £50,000 - 56,300 based on experience
Industrial Refrigeration Engineer is required for our client, a leading Refrigeration company based in Durham, who been operational for over 40 years, with national and regional offices. They specialise in the design, installation, and service/maintenance of a wide range of Industrial Refrigeration systems. Due to expansion, our client is looking for an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Service Engineer to join their team and work on their contracts.
The role will involve completing routine servicing and planned/reactive maintenance on a range of Industrial Refrigeration units such as ammonia systems.
The successful Refrigeration Engineer candidate will have at least 5 years' experience completing service/maintenance tasks on a range of ammonia refrigeration systems.

Salary & Benefits

• £50,000 - 56,300
• Door-to-door travel pay
