Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer for a leading industrial refrigeration specialist based in the Northeast. The role covers servicing, maintenance and on-site support of ammonia refrigeration systems across contracts.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience, FGAS qualification, City & Guilds Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning and a full UK driving licence; occasional travel and a company vehicle are provided.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience completing service and maintenance works on Industrial Refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine servicing and planned/reactive maintenance on industrial refrigeration units (ammonia systems).
• Work on ammonia refrigeration systems across contracts.
• Maintain and service on-site equipment as required.

Refrigeration Engineer

Location: Northeast

Salary: £50,000 - 56,300 based on experience

Industrial Refrigeration Engineer is required for our client, a leading Refrigeration company based in Durham, who been operational for over 40 years, with national and regional offices. They specialise in the design, installation, and service/maintenance of a wide range of Industrial Refrigeration systems. Due to expansion, our client is looking for an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Service Engineer to join their team and work on their contracts.

The role will involve completing routine servicing and planned/reactive maintenance on a range of Industrial Refrigeration units such as ammonia systems.

The successful Refrigeration Engineer candidate will have at least 5 years' experience completing service/maintenance tasks on a range of ammonia refrigeration systems.

Job Requirements

• 5 years' experience completing service and maintenance works on Industrial Refrigeration systems.
• FGAS Qualified - essential
• City & Guilds Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• Ammonia Handling (2078)
• MEWP & PASMA certificates desirable
• Experience working in industrial settings including Food Manufacturing
• Live within the Northeast
• Full UK Driving Licence

Salary & Benefits

• £50,000 - 56,300
• Door-to-door travel pay
