Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Refrigeration Engineer to service industrial refrigeration systems across Kent. The role involves routine maintenance, repairs and on-site support on ammonia-based installations for a leading refrigeration company.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, FGAS qualification, and holds City & Guilds Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning. A full UK driving licence and Kent residency are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience servicing/maintaining industrial refrigeration systems.
• FGAS qualification is essential.
• City & Guilds Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning required.
• Ammonia Handling (2078) training or certification preferred.
• Experience in industrial settings, especially food manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing and planned/reactive maintenance on industrial refrigeration units (ammonia systems).

Position: Refrigeration Engineer

Location: Kent

Salary: £50,000 - 56,300 based on experience

Industrial Refrigeration Engineer is required for our client, a leading Refrigeration company based in Durham, who been operational for over 40 years, with national and regional offices. They specialise in the design, installation, and service/maintenance of a wide range of Industrial Refrigeration systems. Due to expansion, our client is looking for an experienced Refrigeration Service Engineer to join their team and work on their contracts.

The role will involve completing routine servicing and planned/reactive maintenance on a range of Industrial Refrigeration units such as ammonia systems.

The successful Refrigeration Engineer candidate will have at least 5 years' experience completing service/maintenance tasks on a range of ammonia refrigeration systems.

Job Requirements

• 5 years' experience completing service and maintenance works on Industrial Refrigeration systems.
• FGAS Qualified - essential
• City & Guilds Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• Ammonia Handling (2078)
• MEWP & PASMA certificates desirable
• Experience working in industrial settings including Food Manufacturing
• Live within the Kent region
• Full UK Driving Licence

Salary & Benefits

• £50,000 - 56,300
• Door-to-door travel pay
