Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to service and maintain industrial refrigeration systems across Scotland, including planned and reactive tasks. The role covers ammonia systems and requires travel within the M8 corridor and beyond as needed.

You will join a team with over 40 years of industry experience, offering a company vehicle and extensive benefits. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience completing service and maintenance works on Industrial Refrigeration systems.
• FGAS qualification is essential.
• City & Guilds Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• Ammonia Handling (2078).
• MEWP & PASMA certificates desirable.
• Experience in industrial settings including Food Manufacturing.
• Able to commute across the M8 Corridor.
• Happy to travel out of region to Inverness & Dundee.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• The role will involve completing routine servicing and planned/reactive maintenance on a range of Industrial Refrigeration units such as ammonia systems.

Position: Refrigeration Engineer
Location: Scotland - M8 Corridor
Salary: £50,000 - 56,300 based on experience
Industrial Refrigeration Engineer is required for our client, a leading Refrigeration company based in Durham, who been operational for over 40 years, with national and regional offices. They specialise in the design, installation, and service/maintenance of a wide range of Industrial Refrigeration systems. Due to expansion, our client is looking for an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Service Engineer to join their team and work on their contracts.
The role will involve completing routine servicing and planned/reactive maintenance on a range of Industrial Refrigeration units such as ammonia systems.
The successful Refrigeration Engineer candidate will have at least 5 years' experience completing service/maintenance tasks on a range of ammonia refrigeration systems.

Job Requirements

• 5 years' experience completing service and maintenance works on Industrial Refrigeration systems.

• City & Guilds Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning

Salary & Benefits

• £50,000 - 56,300
• Door-to-door travel pay
• 40 Hour working week
