Job summary

Bennett And Game Recruitment is seeking an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Engineer for Scotland/M8 Corridor. You will service and maintain ammonia refrigeration systems, completing routine tasks and on-call maintenance across regional contracts.

The role requires at least 5 years in industrial refrigeration service, FGAS, and City & Guilds Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning. A Full UK Driving Licence is essential and some travel will be necessary.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in service/maintenance of industrial refrigeration systems.
• FGAS qualification is essential.
• City & Guilds Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is required.
• Ammonia Handling (2078) experience or training.
• MEWP & PASMA certificates desirable.
• Experience in industrial settings including Food Manufacturing is preferred.
• Able to commute across the M8 Corridor and travel to Inverness & Dundee as needed.

• Perform routine servicing and planned/reactive maintenance on ammonia refrigeration units.

Position: Refrigeration Engineer Location: Scotland - M8 Corridor Salary: £50,000 - 56,300 based on experience

Industrial Refrigeration Engineer is required for our client, a leading Refrigeration company based in Durham, who been operational for over 40 years, with national and regional offices. They specialise in the design, installation, and service/maintenance of a wide range of Industrial Refrigeration systems. Due to expansion, our client is looking for an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Service Engineer to join their team and work on their contracts.

The role will involve completing routine servicing and planned/reactive maintenance on a range of Industrial Refrigeration units such as ammonia systems.

The successful Refrigeration Engineer candidate will have at least 5 years' experience completing service/maintenance tasks on a range of ammonia refrigeration systems.

Job Requirements

• 5 years' experience completing service and maintenance works on Industrial Refrigeration systems.
• FGAS Qualified - essential
• City & Guilds Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• Ammonia Handling (2078)
• MEWP & PASMA certificates desirable
• Experience working in industrial settings including Food Manufacturing
• Able to commute across the M8 Corridor
• Happy to travel out of the region when required (1 site in Inverness & Dundee)
• Full UK Driving Licence

Salary & Benefits

• £50,000 - 56,300
• Door-to-door travel pay
• 40 Hour working week
