Job summary

Bennett And Game Recruitment is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer for Scotland's M8 Corridor to service and maintain industrial refrigeration systems, including ammonia units, on a range of projects.

The role involves routine servicing, planned and reactive maintenance with travel to Inverness and Dundee as needed; a minimum of five years' experience, FGAS qualification, City & Guilds Level 2 Refrigeration & AC, and a full UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience servicing and maintaining industrial refrigeration systems.
• Essential FGAS qualification.
• City & Guilds Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning qualification.
• Ammonia Handling (2078) certification.
• Willingness to travel across the M8 Corridor and beyond when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing and planned maintenance on industrial refrigeration units, including ammonia systems.
• Carry out reactive maintenance as needed to ensure continuous operation.
• Assist with commissioning and on-site commissioning activities where required.
• Travel to various sites across Scotland, Inverness and Dundee when instructed.

Position: Refrigeration Engineer Location: Scotland - M8 Corridor Salary: £50,000 - 56,300 based on experience

Industrial Refrigeration Engineer is required for our client, a leading Refrigeration company based in Durham, who been operational for over 40 years, with national and regional offices. They specialise in the design, installation, and service/maintenance of a wide range of Industrial Refrigeration systems. Due to expansion, our client is looking for an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Service Engineer to join their team and work on their contracts.

The role will involve completing routine servicing and planned/reactive maintenance on a range of Industrial Refrigeration units such as ammonia systems.

The successful Refrigeration Engineer candidate will have at least 5 years' experience completing service/maintenance tasks on a range of ammonia refrigeration systems.

Job Requirements

• 5 years' experience completing service and maintenance works on Industrial Refrigeration systems.
• FGAS Qualified - essential
• City & Guilds Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• Ammonia Handling (2078)
• MEWP & PASMA certificates desirable
• Experience working in industrial settings including Food Manufacturing
• Able to commute across the M8 Corridor
• Happy to travel out of the region when required (1 site in Inverness & Dundee)
• Full UK Driving Licence

Salary & Benefits

• £50,000 - 56,300
• Door-to-door travel pay
