Job summary

Pure Talent Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join a growing team working mainly across supermarkets in Liverpool and surrounding areas. The role focuses on CO₂ refrigeration systems with training in hydrocarbon refrigerants for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include servicing, maintenance, fault finding, and on-call duties. The package includes a competitive base salary up to £50,000 plus overtime, a company van, fuel card, and extensive training

Qualifications

• Experience working within commercial refrigeration.
• F-Gas Qualification.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience with CO₂ systems would be advantageous.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and repair of commercial and supermarket refrigeration systems.
• Fault finding and breakdown response on refrigeration plant.
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) works.
• Working on CO₂ refrigeration equipment across supermarket environments.
• Participation in a 1-in-4 on-call rota.
• Completing service reports and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Refrigeration Engineer

Supermarket Refrigeration (CO₂)

Location: Liverpool and surrounding areas
Salary: Up to £50,000 Basic + Overtime + Standby Payments
On-Call: 1 in 4
Holiday: 33 Days (Including Bank Holidays)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join a growing team working primarily across major supermarket and retail accounts throughout Liverpool and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with commercial refrigeration experience looking to further develop their skills within the supermarket sector. The role will involve working on modern CO₂ refrigeration systems, with full training provided in hydrocarbon refrigerants for the right candidate.

The Role
