Job summary

Pure Talent Group is recruiting an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join a growing team covering Bournemouth supermarket and retail accounts. You will service, maintain and repair commercial refrigeration systems, with a focus on CO2 equipment and modern installations across major retail environments.

The role includes fault finding, planned maintenance, and a 1-in-4 on-call rota with a strong emphasis on customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial refrigeration.
• F-Gas Qualification.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience with CO2 systems advantageous.

Salary: Up to £50,000 Basic + Overtime + Standby Payments
On-Call: 1 in 4

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join a growing team working primarily across major supermarket and retail accounts throughout Bournemouth. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with commercial refrigeration experience looking to further develop their skills within the supermarket sector. The role will involve working on modern CO₂ refrigeration systems, with full training provided in hydrocarbon refrigerants for the right candidate.

The Role

• Service, maintenance and repair of commercial and supermarket refrigeration systems.
• Fault finding and breakdown response on refrigeration plant.
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) works.
• Working on CO₂ refrigeration equipment across supermarket environments.
• Participation in a 1-in-4 on-call rota.

Requirements

• Experience working within commercial refrigeration.
• F-Gas Qualification.
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience with CO₂ systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
