Job summary

Pure Talent Group Ltd is recruiting an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Engineer to service, maintain and repair supermarket refrigeration across multiple sites. This role focuses on CO₂ systems, remote packs, integral units and cold rooms.

You will diagnose faults, perform planned and reactive maintenance, and work a 1 in 4 call-out rota. The package includes a basic salary up to £49,000, overtime, company van, pension, and training to support long-term progression.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Commercial Refrigeration Engineer in supermarket or food retail.
• Strong knowledge of CO₂ refrigeration systems and controls.
• Ability to fault find and repair independently.
• Valid F-Gas Category 1 qualification (essential).
• CO₂ refrigeration training and experience (essential).
• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

Salary: Up to £49,000 basic + Overtime

Call-Out: 1 in 4 rota

Hours: 40 hours per week

We are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Engineer to join a well-established and growing team working across a portfolio of supermarket and retail refrigeration contracts.
