Alecto Recruitment is seeking a Refrigeration Engineer in Glasgow to maintain refrigeration systems across supermarket and retail sites. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance across a designated area, with a focus on CO₂ systems and customer service excellence.

The position offers a salary between £50,000 and £55,000 basic, with OTE £65,000+, and includes benefits and ongoing training. A full UK driving licence and relevant qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• F‑Gas Category 1 (C&G 2079‑1) certification.
• Commercial refrigeration experience.
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience with supermarket refrigeration or CO₂ systems is advantageous.

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Reactive breakdown repairs.
• Fault finding and diagnostics.
• Working on CO₂ refrigeration pack systems.
• Minor installations and equipment upgrades.
