Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join their team in Scotland. You will perform routine servicing and maintenance on industrial refrigeration units, including ammonia systems, across a regional footprint.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years' experience, City & Guilds Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, ammonia handling certification, and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience servicing and maintaining industrial refrigeration systems.
• Ammonia handling certified (2078).
• Experience in food manufacturing environments.
• Willing to travel across the M8 Corridor and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and planned/reactive maintenance on industrial refrigeration systems.
• Work on ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Travel across the M8 Corridor and occasional sites in Inverness & Dundee.

Position: Refrigeration Engineer
Location: Scotland - M8 Corridor
Salary: £50,000 - 56,300 based on experience
Industrial Refrigeration Engineer is required for our client, a leading Refrigeration company based in Durham, who been operational for over 40 years, with national and regional offices. They specialise in the design, installation, and service/maintenance of a wide range of Industrial Refrigeration systems. Due to expansion, our client is looking for an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Service Engineer to join their team and work on their contracts.
The role will involve completing routine servicing and planned/reactive maintenance on a range of Industrial Refrigeration units such as ammonia systems.
The successful Refrigeration Engineer candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience completing service/maintenance tasks on a range of ammonia refrigeration systems.
Job Requirements

• 5 years’ experience completing service and maintenance works on Industrial Refrigeration systems.
• City & Guilds Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• Ammonia Handling (2078)
• Experience working in industrial settings including Food Manufacturing
• Able to commute across the M8 Corridor
• Happy to travel out of the region when required 1 site in Inverness & Dundee
• Full UK Driving Licence
