Job summary

Staffline is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to maintain, service and repair commercial refrigeration equipment across customer locations in Derbyshire and Staffordshire, supporting a leading supermarket contract. The role includes on-site work, 40-hour weeks with overtime and an on-call rota.

You will have 3+ years of refrigeration experience, hydrocarbon training, IPAF/MEWP and wiring/18th edition qualifications, plus a £2,000 joining bonus and potential OTE around £60,000.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years refrigeration experience on commercial equipment.
• Hydrocarbon training provided.
• Corefrigeration training / certifications provided.
• IPAF 3a/b MEWP training provided.
• Electrical fault finding and wiring to 18th edition.

Responsibilities

• Prioritise maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales and response times.
• Identify non-repairable faults promptly advise the Line manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacements.
• To ensure PPM schedules are completed within agreed timescales and that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures.
• Ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is always completed and up to date.
• To order and fit parts or components as prescribed by company procedures.
• To carry out surveys and complete reports as required by the refrigeration supervisor/ RFM.

My client is on the lookout for an experienced RefrigerationEngineerto join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve maintaining, servicing and repairing Refrigeration Equipment in customer locations and provide assistance to HVAC equipment containing refrigeration circuits.

On Offer - Refrigeration Engineer

• OTE £60,000(based on typical engineer earningsover the last 12 months)
• 40hour working week, overtime payable for time over contracted hours
• Planned on-call rota 1 in 4weeks (hours of work paid in addition to standby payment)
• 25 days + 8 bank holidays
• Travel time after ½ hour each way
• Van, fuel card, tools, uniform, IT equipment provided
