Job summary

Omega Resource Group in Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to maintain, service and repair refrigeration equipment on customer locations, including HVAC systems containing refrigeration circuits, as part of a leading supermarket contract.

The role offers a 40-hour week with overtime, a £53,319 base salary plus a £2,000 joining bonus and additional overtime; benefits include private healthcare and pension matched, and a 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-years refrigeration experience on commercial / refrigeration
• Hydrocarbon (Training will be provided)
• CO₂refrigeration training / certification(Training will be provided)
• IPAF 3a,b MEWPS training (Training will be provided)
• Electrical Fault Finding / Wiring Reg (18thEdition)

Responsibilities

• Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.
• Identify non-repairable faults promptly advise the Line manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacements.
• To ensure PPM schedules are completed within agreed timescales and that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures.
• Ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is always completed and up to date.
• To order and fit parts or components as prescribed by company procedures.
• To carry out surveys and complete reports as required by the refrigeration supervisor/ RFM.

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve maintaining, servicing and repairing Refrigeration Equipment in customer locations and provide assistance to HVAC equipment containing refrigeration circuits.

On Offer – Refrigeration Engineer

• OTE £60,000(based on typical engineer earnings over the last 12 months)
• 40hour working week, overtime payable for time over contracted hours
• Planned on-call rota 1 in 4weeks (hours of work paid in addition to standby payment)
• 25 days + 8 bank holidays
• Travel time after ½ hour each way
• Van, fuel card, tools, uniform, IT equipment provided
