Job summary

Staffline is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join the South London team. You will maintain, service and repair commercial refrigeration equipment at customer sites and support HVAC systems containing refrigeration circuits.

The role offers a permanent contract with a base salary around £47,676 plus a £2,000 joining bonus and overtime. Benefits include private healthcare, pension, 25 days holiday and on-call/travel considerations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years refrigeration experience on commercial equipment.
• Hydrocarbon refrigerants (training provided).
• CO refrigeration training / certification (training provided).
• IPAF 3a/b and MEWPS training (training provided).
• Electrical fault finding and wiring regulations (18th Edition).

Responsibilities

• Prioritise maintenance and repair work to meet timescales and response targets.
• Identify non-repairable faults and advise on replacements.
• Ensure PPM schedules are completed on time and paperwork is up to date.
• Complete all technical and compliance documentation.
• Order and fit parts or components per procedures.
• Carry out surveys and compile reports for refrigeration supervisor.

My client is on the lookout for an experienced RefrigerationEngineerto join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve maintaining, servicing and repairing Refrigeration Equipment in customer locations and provide assistance to HVAC equipment containing refrigeration circuits.

Key Responsibilities - Refrigeration Engineer

• Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.
• Identify non-repairable faults promptly advise the Line manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacements.
• To ensure PPM schedules are completed within agreed timescales and that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures.
• Ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is always completed and up to date.
• To order and fit parts or components as prescribed by company procedures.
• To carry out surveys and complete reports as required by the refrigeration supervisor/ RFM.

On Offer - Refrigeration Engineer

• OTE £60,000 (based on typical engineer earnings over the last 12 months)
• 40 hour working week, overtime payable for time over contracted hours
• Planned on-call rota 1 in 4 weeks (hours of work paid in addition to standby payment)
• 25 days + 8 bank holidays
• Travel time after ½ hour each way
