Job summary

Staffline is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join their team in Middlesborough. The role involves maintaining, servicing and repairing refrigeration equipment on supermarket contracts, with opportunities to work on leading projects.

The position offers a permanent contract with a 40-hour week, overtime paid beyond contracted hours, and a comprehensive benefits package including private healthcare and pension matching. Training will be provided where noted.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years refrigeration experience on commercial / refrigeration.
• Hydrocarbon training provided.
• Core refrigeration training / certification provided.
• IPAF 3a,b MEWPS training provided.
• Electrical Fault Finding / Wiring Reg (18th Edition) knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.
• Identify non-repairable faults promptly advise the Line manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacements.
• To ensure PPM schedules are completed within agreed timescales and that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures.
• Ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is always completed and up to date.
• To order and fit parts or components as prescribed by company procedures.
• To carry out surveys and complete reports as required by the refrigeration supervisor/ RFM.

My client is on the lookout for an experienced RefrigerationEngineerto join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve maintaining, servicing and repairing Refrigeration Equipment in customer locations and provide assistance to HVAC equipment containing refrigeration circuits.

• OTE £60,000(based on typical engineer earningsover the last 12 months)
• 40hour working week, overtime payable for time over contracted hours
• Planned on-call rota 1 in 4weeks (hours of work paid in addition to standby payment)
• 25 days + 8 bank holidays
• Travel time after ½ hour each way
• Van, fuel card, tools, uniform, IT equipment provided
