Job summary

Calibre Search is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to cover a varied retail portfolio across Essex, working on CO2/R744 systems with strong earning potential.

You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites, diagnose faults, complete reports and liaise with customers, with a company van and a defined call-out rota.

Qualifications

• CO2 / R744 experience is essential.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with planned and reactive maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Willingness to participate in a call-out rota.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a retail portfolio.
• Diagnose and repair refrigeration faults.
• Work on CO2 / R744 refrigeration systems.
• Complete PPMs and reactive call-outs.
• Attend breakdowns and resolve faults efficiently.
• Service and maintain commercial refrigeration equipment.
• Complete service reports and relevant documentation.
• Liaise with customers and site teams.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Participate in a call-out rota.

Salary: GBP40000 - GBP50000 per annum + Company Van, D2D travel, OT

A Refrigeration Engineer is required to cover a varied retail portfolio across Essex, working across a range of commercial refrigeration systems.

This is a good opportunity for an experienced refrigeration engineer with solid CO2 / R744 experience who is looking for a stable regional position, strong earning potential and a varied workload.

The Role

The Person
