Job summary

Arcus FM is seeking a Senior Refrigeration Engineer to service supermarket refrigeration systems across Birmingham and surrounding areas. This is a mobile, hands-on role with a company van and fuel card, and varied days on the road.

The position requires refrigeration engineering experience, F-Gas certification (C&G 2079), CO2 qualification, and a valid UK driver’s license. You will diagnose, maintain and repair systems while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Refrigeration engineering experience with supermarket systems.
• F-Gas certification (C&G 2079) and CO2 qualification.
• Valid UK driver's license and ability to travel across the West Midlands.

Responsibilities

• Travel across the West Midlands to service supermarket refrigeration systems.
• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, servicing and repairs to high standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service while working in a mobile role.
• Support on-call rota as required.

Arcus FM are hiring an experienced Senior Refrigeration Engineer to join our growing team, servicing a range of multi-site retail clients.

You’ll be on the road, keeping our clients supermarket refrigeration systems running smoothly across your patch, carrying out high-quality diagnostics, maintenance, servicing and repairs - all while delivering outstanding customer service.

This is a hands‑on, mobile role where no two days are the same.

Essential:

• Valid UK driver's license
• Refrigeration engineering experience
• F‑Gas certification (C&G 2079)
• CO2 Qualification
• Supermarket refrigeration experience
• Excellent communication and time management
• A strong work ethic, with Health & Safety awareness

Additional info:

• The role will involve working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• On-call rota: 1 in every 4 weeks
