Job summary

Get Staff is seeking a Refrigeration Class 1 Driver for Southampton/Eastleigh. Temporary position with potential temp-to-perm, offering both day and night shifts and weekend options. Weekly pay at £17.00–£26.00 per hour, with an immediate start and ongoing work.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, DCPC, Digital Tachograph card, and experience with palm couplings. Applicants should have 6 months to 1 year of HGV1 refrigerated driving and a clean licence with limited points.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Must hold a valid DCPC card.
• Must hold a Digital Tachograph card.
• Experience using palm couplings is required.
• Licence must have no more than 6 points.
• At least 6 months to 1 year of HGV1 refrigerated driving experience.
• Good level of English (speaking, writing, understanding).
• Solid knowledge of the UK motorway network and WTD regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 refrigerated lorries (C+E, HGV1, LGV1).
• Complete RDC, Local Depots, and Commercial deliveries.
• Keep paperwork and electronic records up to date.
• Maintain accurate records of driver breaks per WTD regulations.
• Follow agency and client regulations and procedures.

• Must have a solid working knowledge of the UK motorway road network and WTD regulations
