Job summary

Get Staff is recruiting a Refrigeration Class 1 Driver (Cat C+E, HGV1, LGV1) for days, nights and weekend shifts in Bognor Regis. Role includes a mix of RDC and depot deliveries, strict compliance with WTD rules, and accurate record-keeping. Immediate start with ongoing work and potential temp-to-perm progression.

You must hold a valid HGV1 licence, DCPC and Tachograph cards, plus 6 months to 1 year refrigerated driving experience. English proficiency and knowledge of UK motorways are essential.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Hold a valid DCPC Card.
• Hold a Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months to 1 year of refrigerated HGV1 experience.
• Good level of English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Drive Refrigeration Class 1 lorries across RDC, local depots and commercial deliveries.
• Keep paperwork and electronic records up to date.
• Maintain accurate brake-time records per WTD regulations.
• Adhere to agency and client regulations and procedures.

• Pay Rate: £17.00 - £26.00+ per hour (minimum 10 hours) - Paid Weekly
• Contract: 12 Weeks / Ongoing / Ad-hoc

Skills and Experience Required- Refrigeration Class 1 Driver (Cat C+E, HGV1, LGV1)

• Must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Must hold a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) Card
• Must hold a Digital Tachograph card
• Must have experience using palm couplings
• Must not have more than 6 penalty points on the licence
• Must have at least 6 months - 1 years' experience in HGV1 refrigerated driving
• Must have a good level of English (speaking, writing, and understanding)
• Must have a good working knowledge of the UK motorway road network and WTD regulations
