Pertemps Network Group is recruiting for an experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Service Engineer in the West Midlands. The role focuses on diagnosing faults, repairing refrigeration and AC systems, and delivering exceptional on-site technical support.

This permanent, field-based position offers a competitive salary, travel time, overtime, and a company van with training opportunities. A full UK driving licence and CO₂/Hydrocarbon system knowledge are desirable.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Refrigeration and/or Air Conditioning Service Engineer.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills required.
• Experience working with chillers is essential/advantageous.
• Knowledge of CO₂ and hydrocarbon refrigeration is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on refrigeration, air conditioning and chiller systems.
• Servicing and maintaining commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.
• Working with refrigeration, air conditioning, chiller, hydrocarbon and CO₂ systems.
• Completing service documentation and reports via company tablet.
• Delivering on-site customer service and technical support.
• Ensuring all work complies with industry safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

As a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Service Engineer, you will provide exceptional service and technical support to customers across a variety of commercial and industrial sites.

Your responsibilities will Include:

• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on refrigeration, air conditioning and chiller systems
• Servicing and maintaining commercial and industrial HVAC equipment
• Working with refrigeration, air conditioning, chiller, hydrocarbon and CO₂ systems
• Completing service documentation and reports via company tablet
• Delivering outstanding customer service and technical support on-site
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Refrigeration and or Air Conditioning Service Engineer
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience working with chillers
• Knowledge of CO₂ and hydrocarbon refrigeration systems is advantageous but not essential
• C&G 2079 (F-Gas) qualification or equivalent
• Full UK Driving Licence
• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline (desirable)
