Job summary

Bennett And Game Recruitment is seeking a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer for the South West region. You will be responsible for maintenance, servicing and repair of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems across various sites including MOD locations.

The role offers a 40-hour week, travel time paid after 30 minutes, overtime, and a company van with business use. Additional benefits after probation include private healthcare or gym membership, plus 20 days holiday + bank

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is required.
• Valid F-gas certificate (Cat 1) is required.
• Full driving licence and residence in the South West (PL or EX post code) are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, fault-find and repair commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems (walk-in chillers, cold stores, VRV/VRF, split systems).
• Attend MOD sites across the South West and occasionally further afield.

Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer - Job Overview

A Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer is required for our client, a specialist HVACR service provider based in the South West. Due to continued growth within the business, our client is looking to recruit an additional Engineer to join their South West division.

The Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, fault-finding and repair of a wide range of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems, including:

• Walk-in chillers
• Cold rooms and cold stores
• VRV and VRF systems
• Split and multi-split systems

The Service Engineer will be required to attend a variety of MOD sites across the South West & occasionally further afield.

Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer - Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary £40,000 - £45,000 DOE
• 40hr working week
• Travel time paid after 30 minutes each way
• Overtime readily available
• 1 in 5 out of hours on call rota - weekends only (£25 per day for being on call + overtime rates if called out)
