Job summary

Pure Talent Group Ltd is seeking a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer to service, maintain and repair commercial refrigeration and AC systems across Swindon, Reading, Gloucester and Bristol. The role offers a competitive salary up to £45,000, a 40-hour week, company van and ongoing training in a stable, established business.

You will diagnose faults, provide high-level customer service, work safely, participate in on-call rota, and log activities using a company device.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in refrigeration and/or air conditioning service work
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• F-Gas Category 1 certification
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• Full UK driving licence
• Confident communication skills with a customer-focused approach

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of commercial refrigeration and AC systems (including cold rooms, ice machines, bottle coolers, display fridges, VRV/VRF systems, and split units)
• Identifying faults and implementing effective repairs
• Delivering a high level of customer service and maintaining positive client relationships
• Working in line with health & safety standards and company procedures
• Taking part in an on-call rota and attending breakdowns when required
• Logging work activity using a company-issued device (no tracking software)
• Occasional visits to the depot for parts collection, van restocking, or equipment handling

We’re looking to bring on board a skilled Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer to support our operations across the South West region. Our company has built a strong reputation over many years within the building services sector, with a focus on commercial refrigeration and catering environments. What You’ll Be Doing

Working Hours

• 40 hours per week
• Typical schedule: 8:00am – 5:00pm (including 1-hour break)
• Travel time fully paid from home to job and back

On-Call Duties:

• 1 weekday per week
• 1 full weekend in every 5

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience in refrigeration and/or air conditioning service work
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• F-Gas Category 1 certification
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• Full UK driving licence
• Confident communication skills with a customer-focused approach

Desirable (Not Essential):

• Experience working on commercial sites such as retail or hospitality
• Additional manufacturer training or specialist certifications
