Job Description:

Our client is a well-renowned FM company based in the North West who specialize in HVAC & Commercial Catering maintenance and was founded in the 1960s. Currently, due to continued expansion in the North West, a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer is required to carry out Service, Maintenance and reactive work across the North West.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for repairing and maintaining Refrigeration & Air Conditioning equipment across the retail, hospitality, leisure & public sectors.
• Undertake necessary diagnostic tests and fault-finding exercises and be able to identify the correct tools, equipment, and parts to carry out the task.

Qualifications:

• City & Guilds Qualification in Refrigeration and/or Air Conditioning.
• FGAS (C&G 2079 Cat 1 or equivalent)
• Hydrocarbon (City and Guilds 6187-21 or equivalent)
• Good Electrical Competency
• Strong experience working on commercial refrigeration equipment, such as Display Refrigeration, Cellar Cooling, Cold Rooms, Ice Machines, Bottle Coolers.

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary from £17.61 per hour DOE
• Overtime x1.5/x2.0
• 31 days holiday inc bank holiday - Rising to 34 after 12 months. Plus 1 Day after every 5-year service
• Bonus scheme for Long Service
