Job summary

Veritas Education is recruiting a Reflect Room Manager for a welcoming East Lancashire secondary school on a full-time temporary basis until Christmas, with an immediate start. You will oversee the Reflect Room, work with students, parents and staff, and help sustain positive behaviour and learning engagement.

The role requires experience with secondary students, strong organisation and communication, and the ability to handle challenging behaviour calmly. DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Experience working with secondary-aged students.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Calm, professional handling of challenging behaviour.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
• Experience with SIMS or similar school systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Reflect Room and internal exclusion provision.
• Supervise students removed from lessons and ensure work completion.
• Promote positive behaviour, engagement and attendance.
• Support students' pastoral needs and build positive relationships.
• Maintain accurate behaviour records and liaise with staff and parents.
• Monitor detention attendance and follow-up processes.
• Contribute to behaviour analysis and reporting.
• Support wider pastoral duties and school events as needed.
