Job summary

Veritas Education is seeking a Reflect Room Manager for a secondary school in East Lancashire. This full-time, temporary role supports behaviour and pastoral systems, overseeing the Reflect Room and ensuring students stay engaged with learning while aligned to school policies.

You will work with senior leaders, staff, students and parents to record and monitor behaviour, detentions and referrals, while promoting positive attitudes toward learning in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with secondary-aged students.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Confident managing challenging behaviour in a calm, professional manner.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Reflect Room and internal exclusion provision.
• Supervise students removed from lessons and ensure completion of work.
• Promote positive behaviour, engagement and attendance across the school.
• Support students individually and respond to pastoral needs.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• Maintain accurate behaviour, detention and exclusion records using SIMS.
