Job summary

ctrg is hiring a Recycling Warehouse Operative for their Livingston, EH54 8TB site. The role is full-time and involves working in a fast-paced recycling facility that handles cardboard, plastic, and tray washing for a major grocery retailer.

Typical shifts run 2pm-10pm on a rotating 5/7 schedule, with 4-on/4-off days and nights for some positions. Pay is hourly with increases after 12 weeks, plus holiday pay and potential permanent contract.

• No relatable experience is required - all training will be provided
• Can-do attitude with a willingness to learn something new
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive work

Responsibilities

• Load empty trays onto the wash machine ready for cleaning
• Unload clean trays from the wash machine and stack them away ready for collection
• Empty cages of cardboard onto the baling machine ready for condensing
• Ensure a hazard free zone by guaranteeing that all work areas are kept clean and tidy

ctrg is looking for a full time Recycling Warehouse Operative to join their client's warehouse in Livingston, EH54 8TB.

This warehouse supports the cardboard and plastic recycling process, as well as tray wash operation, for one of the leading grocery supermarkets. The site is fast-paced, and diverse, with plenty of development opportunities.

Your typical working hours as a full time Recycling Warehouse Operative:

• 2pm - 10pm 5/7 on a rota
• 06:00 - 18:00 & 18:00 - 06:00 4 on 4 off rotating days & nights

Pay rate as a Recycling Warehouse Operative:

• Days: £13.07 per hour - increase to £14.02 after 12 weeks
• Nights: £14.02per hour - increase to £14.16 after 12 weeks
• Holiday pay
• Opportunities for a permanent contract for the right candidate

Please note: This is a full time position therefore we are unable to accept any 20 hour visa restrictions. If you have completed your course, please provide a suitable completion letter from your university.
