Job summary

People Solutions is recruiting a Recycling Operative for our client in Chelveston, Northamptonshire. The role involves operating a recycling line handling fruit, vegetables and bakery goods, loading and unloading trailers, and maintaining a consistent product flow while following health and safety procedures.

Full training is provided. You’ll enjoy weekly pay, ongoing year‑round work, ten‑hour shifts, and free on‑site parking.

Responsibilities

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Recycling Operative to join our well-established client based in Chelveston, Northamptonshire.

This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as a Waste Recycling Operative, Sorting Operative or Recycling Facility Operative or in a similar environment.

Rates of Pay:

• £13.00 per hour

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• 07:00 - 17:00

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a Recycling Operative are:

• Working on a recycling line handling fruit, vegetables and bakery goods
• Operating a cage lifter to maintain a consistent product flow
• Separating food waste from packaging and checking for contaminants
• Loading and unloading trailers as required
• Carrying out general housekeeping and cleaning duties, including pressure washing
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times
